Oktavas Panku-Jašis, MIŠKO SIUVĖJAI, 1985

Lines, colours, and spots play an emotional game, and at times this kaleidoscope bursts out in poetic ways, whereas on other occasions it might surprise you with its humour.

Daukšaitė-Guobienė graduated from Lithuanian Art Institute as a graphic artist in 1966, starting her career as an artist-constructor at Vilnius Experimental Container Construction and Packaging Bureau. She went on to become an independent artist later, working on prints, small graphic art, exlibris, book illustrations. Her artworks are kept at Lithuanian Art Museum, Kaunas M. K. Čiurlionis Art Museum, Pushkin Museum in Moscow, Prague National Gallery, Contemporary Art Museum in Lodz.
